Harvest Festival & Market
Saturday, September 27th from 3pm - 7pm
Julia Morgan Clubhouse at 120 Central Ave.

The Sausalito Woman’s Club Preservation Society will host a Harvest Festival & Market, Saturday, September 27th, 3-7 PM at their historic landmark clubhouse in Sausalito at 120 Central Avenue. The beautiful private club and garden will be open to the public for this special event.

A celebration of the Bay Area’s regional bounty, the event will feature professional culinary demonstrations by Williams Sonoma, as well as local artisan food purveyors and vintners (McEvoy Ranch Bath Products, California Caviar, Drivers Market, Amphora Nueva Olive Oil, Madrigal Winery and Enchante Macaroons to name just a few) who will be offering samples of their wares and favorite delicacies for purchase.
There will also be a small art show at the event showcasing the work of numerous well-known California artists, as well as a silent auction and a “Preservation Pantry” with enchanting gifts for purchase. Jazz chanteuse Francesca Lee will perform and delicious appetizers, wine and other refreshments will be available.

The festival is a fundraiser for the Sausalito Woman’s Club Preservation Society, a nonprofit organization, which was established in 1990 for the preservation of the historic landmark clubhouse that is almost 100 years old. Designed by Julia Morgan, the building was an America Institute of Architects Gold Medal Winner in 2014 (http://www.aia.org/press/releases/AIAB100853). Julia Morgan is the architect best known for designing Hearst Castle in San Simeon architect as well as the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. She is only the seventh architect to receive an AIA gold medal posthumously, and the first woman to earn the honor.

The price per person is $40; advance ticket purchase is recommended as this festive and savory autumn event is likely to sell out. For tickets and more information: http://swcpsharvestfestival.weebly.com
